Cancer Research MTB Sportive
25 Sep 2014
If your fed up of all the recent charity road sportives then rejoice! This Saturday, 27th, the boys at NorthWest CC have organised a charity mountain bike sportive. The 24mile route takes in the stunning scenery of Banagher forest including the dam and reservoir. Banagher forest is one of the most picturesque areas of the Sperrin mountains and this author can personally guarantee there is no better way to appreciate that beauty than from the saddle of your mountain bike.
The cycle departs Tricks filling station, The GO station outside Dungiven on the right hand side, at 12pm with a £10 donation per bike going to Cancer Research UK's centre in Belfast. This extremely worthwhile charity is deserving of your support.
