·        Saturday 14^th - Tour of Ards

Johnny finished 11^thoverall with Marc Heaney in 15^th (2^nd Junior)

·      Sunday 15^th - Roe Valley Danny Boy Race

A3 Race - Marc Heaney 4^th / Nicholas Gormley – 7^th

A4 Race - Johnny McConomy 2^nd / Gerard Scullion 5^th

Womans Race - Mairead McGurk 6^th

Well done to Johnny McConomy on his upgrade from A4 to A3 racing over the weekend. Consistent results over the past few weeks has enabled Johnny to pick up enough points to upgrade, with Gerard Scullion also not far away too, these men will make a great addition to the A3 team in the upcoming races.

·      Sunday 15^th - Beginner Cycle

A great squad of over 20 out on Sunday morning on the Beginners cycle, with a couple of the founding members of the club back out in the road bikes after a long absence (8 years I believe for one of them).
The group left Maghera and traversed the 1st half of next weekends Carn Wheelers Classic and then branched off towards Portglenone, Gulladuff and back to Maghera again with a good 25 miles on the clock. 
A few eager beavers then went on to do a loop of Slaughtneil, down into Swatragh, and with the whistle ringing out, what seemed to be every few seconds, and a head wind to contend with, a super fast run back in to Maghera.
Very enjoyable run out and great work put in by all.
