Sunday Cycle - Beginners Group

A great 41 miles this morning and a 2 MPH increase from the usual average speed for the Beginners Group.

13 left the Leisure Center this morning and headed to Ballyronan via Magherafelt - in to Toome, and after a feed of sausage rolls, headed onward to Moneyglass where we were joined by another 3 Wheelers.

"Rogery's not that bad" someone shouted from the rear of the pack, so onwards and upwards, tacking the dreaded Rogery climb. A few sore legs and tongues out at the top, but everyone made it. 

Homeward bound through Portglenone, Clady, Gulladuff and back to Maghera.
Great ride.....great craic....great bunch of people.

Think we'll have to change the name from Beginners Group to something a bit more fitting going forward.
My suggestion is "Stars of the Future" group wink emoticon
