Terrible luck for Sean Bradley at round 2 of the British MTB Championships
On Thursday 16th of April Sean Bradley met up with the cycling ulster junior mtb team to make the long journey to round 2 of the British mtb championships at Newnham Park in Plymouth they had to leave a day earlier than usual so they could spread the journey over 2 days and avoid arriving for Saturday practice fatigued of the back of a long journey.
As seems to have been the theme for the carn wheelers youth riders this weekend Sean had a nasty crash during practice on a steep tough drop and must have landed on a sharp rock and hurt his left hand .Sean and the team tried every trick in the book to get him fit for the race painkillers foam on the handlebars everything but sadly for Sean it was just to sore and he was unable to race.
When Sean got home this morning he went to a&e and sadly discovered that his left hand is fractured.
The club wish Sean a speedy recovery and hope that he will be back on the mtb again soon.
