XMTB Spring Series Ormeau Park Belfast

XMTB McConvey Cycles are hosting a series of 3 mountain bike races aimed primarily at the youth riders from the Under 8s up to the Under 16s starting on Sunday 16 February 2014.  The club wish to thank Belfast City Council for their support and ongoing permission to use the venue. 

Because of the popularity of this league in addition to the normal program, we will be hosting two separate Senior races taking the following format:

Senior A:
The Senior A race is for riders who are experienced in cross country racing and would normally compete in race categories Senior 1, Senior 2 and Senior 3.
The Under 16's and adult females will also race along with the Senior A riders – with a staggered start-time.

Senior B:
The Senior B race is for beginners – new to racing and who would otherwise race at Senior 4 level, or never raced at all. The club reserves the right to "bump” riders to the Senior A category if we believe you riding under your ability, or "sand-baging” your fellow competitors.
The Under 14's will also ride along with the Senior B race, with a staggered start time.

Round 3 - Sunday 2 March 2014 (Series Prize Giving in Ozone Centre)
