Hi Guys, Registeration is now open here....http://www.offroadcyclingireland.ie/
Everybody registering and Paying online will have their name automatically entered into a draw for a Family room (2adults&2kids) for 2 nights ,at the An Oige Hostel in KillarneyThis can be used at any time of the Year subject to availability.
Also to combat rising dust and falling lap times we have been working on a new section for the course over the past week and it is now completed. This brings the course length to 5.2k so we are expecting winning S1 lap times of 16 to 17 mins.
So lets get Registering!!
Regards Noel

Hi, Just wondering if anyone would be around Davagh on Saturday as a few of us from CRC are looking for someone to show us around the trails? If someone could get back to me on 07738216630 it would be much appreciated.

Duffin Transport Racing are hosting a Mountain Time Trial to coincide with the longest day of the year.

http://www.entrycentral.com/index.php?raceID=101525
Entry Central Link

What better way to spend a summers evening by testing your lungs and legs over the very scenic landscape of Orra mountain in the heart of the Glens of Antrim.

The Time Trial is unique in the local cycling calendar and will provide an opportunity for specialist time trialists to test their abilities against those who consider themselves more adept to the steep climbs. The nature of the course should make the result unpredictable and should attract considerable interest from near and far.

The winner will be Crowned Orra Mountain Time Trialist Champion for 2012 and it is our hope to run the event as annual event with the winner having the opportunity to defend the title.

SIGN ON: Magherhoney Parish Hall Carpark,Coolkeeran Road, Loughgiel, .

The SIGN ON will open from 7pm will be open from to 7.45 pm.

First rider off at 8PM.

Road Bikes and TT bikes are both permitted.

Parking facality is available in the carpark beside Parish Hall, please be considerate to the local community when parking.

The start is approximately 1/2 a mile from sign on at the bottom of the Altarichard Road.
It is an 'out and home' course set over Orra Mountain and is 18 miles. The finishers should expet a time between 45 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes to complete depending upon experience and fitness.

Marshalls will be on the course to direct riders at essential turns on the course

Entry fee for this event is £5.00.

Cycling ireland membership is required for this event.

I hope the guy who crashed tonight is ok. I am sorry I did not get back in time to clean him up, as I was already treating other crash victims at the roadside.

Kind regards,
Joan.
