5 of us came up from Phoenix CC in Belfast amd thoroughly emjoyed the run.
Weather was poor but isn't it great to be able to do it?
As usual the banter was good and we had a wee race at the end with a few North Derry men I know from other events which got the blood pumping.
The climb to Slaughtneill is very deceptive and caught me out again but next year when I'm another stoe lighter that won't be a problem

Came up from Cork to do the Tour of South Derry. Thoroughly enjoyed the cycle and the great welcome that I received. Well worth the journey.

It was a great event held today and would like to thank Carn Wheelers for excellent hospitality. While the weather wasn't great it was made much more bearable by the excellent offerings at the end. It was delicious and well received by all. It is perhaps no surprise why those Carn Wheelrs boys can climb the mountains. I am more of a sprinter myself you know.

Thanks for another excellent event, well marshalled at road ends, Club members going out of their way to help, plenty to eat at food stop and finish...

I did the tour today and while the weather was not the best, I have to say the event was extremely well marshalled and the ladies putting forward the food at the end in the clubhouse were welcome and did a sterling job - good day thanks.
I am also responsible for organising the Glentathlon - mentioned below and would like to invite all over for the challenge - teams are accepted for the 'Max'

Well done on an excellent Tour of South Derry. This was our first time (myself and son).
Must say was very well organised and is a credit to your club.
Really enjoyed the event (well apart from the weather).
